Birmingham’s Chinese New Year Celebrations will take place Sun 22 Feb to welcome the Year of the Horse.

To kick things off celebrating Chinese New Year, a Market takes over Hippodrome Square Tue 17 – Sat 21 Feb with stalls and funfair rides.

Then join us Sun 22 Feb for the main event! We will be celebrating Chinese New Year Festival with activities throughout the day – shining a spotlight on the fantastic talent within our region and wowing audiences with both traditional and modern music, dance and theatre performances. There’s also fun for all the family with funfair rides, free face painting, fire crackers and more!
